How Can I Fix my Sony playstation2?

All my Playstation2 games play perfectly and barly any scratches but I bought a new game and...well ready?
I'll put it in the tray and it'll read just fine but after about 10 seconds of reading it it'll say "disk read error" so what do i do? i cant live without my PS2!!HHEELLPPP!!
