packard bell model unknown?

I have an elderly packard bell desktop pc running on windows 98 which I would love to restore. However she won't boot up at all and I am getting a message for boot failure and to insert boot diskette in A. Now I have master disks 1-3 for my model and also a diskette for my daughters old packard bell machine. Can anyone advise what I should do as I have no instructions as to how to use these disks

are you in the UK ?

Your problem is most likely the hard drive being accessed by cmos during boot up. The error you report will be evident if the either the boot order is wrong or the hard drive is u/s in other words the hard drive has no boot records on it for cmos to search for to boot up. Contact me for support on
if yes contact me on 07926 1 0 6 1 5 0 for assistance,
