I have been given this strimmer but can not remove the cover from the nylon spool. How do you do this

Hold the yellow female plastic fitting and turn the black cutting line holder anti clockwise. You may need to use a pair of pipe grips or equivalent to turn the holder as they can become stuck with dried grass. Hope this helps.
