Can someone help?

I have got a problem... My nannan had bought a new TV package (TV/DVD/VCR) from Freemans after the sale. (About 4 weeks ago now) and I promised that I help her connect up the VCR. My problem is, I dont know!!! Everything is connected up, but my Gran has told me that it will play, but does not record through Sky (Did I not mention that before?) Try and follow how we have connected it all up... If you can...

TV Scart 1 - Sky
TV Scart 2 - DVD

Sky VCR Scart Output - VCR
Sky TV Scart Output - TV

DVD (Player) - TV

VCR - Sky VCR Scart Output

Is there something that I should have done/wrong with what I did?

Like Terry said, make sure she selects AV on the Video Recorder so it can find Sky.

If there are two scart sockets on the video, try the other one, as some videos have only one scart fully wired for 'input/output', with a second scart possibly wired for 'output' only.

Otherwise, you have wired it correctly so you just need to confirm you have an 'input/output' enabled scart socket on the video.

Make sure the scarts are pushed well in and no pins are bent.

She is using AV as input for the VCR when trying record from Sky isn't she?
