ford mondeo front brakes?

my mondeo drivers side front brake is staying on when the pedal is pressed. the pads were replaced 6 months ago and the car has been driven without problem since then,the near side front brake dosen`t suffer from this problem. can any one please help

take caliper off and clean and regrease the sliding pins (copper slip )and pull back rubber seal on piston and do same then push back in and refit

Can be a number of things,pads seized in caliper bridge,I take it you lubed them with copaslip when you replaced them,caliper piston seized,try levering piston fully home then operate brake,may need to be stripped and overhauled,did have a seized front brake on a ford not long ago due to faulty brake hose but dont see that very often,make sure everything is nice and free and lubed up,good luck.
