Raz,Transit 2.5td 1999 LWB?

Got fault codes P1174-Cam sensor & B1682-Pats is disabled,check link between Pats module & transponder.Is cam sensor in fuel pump?If so where,It is a lucas pump with big multi plug connector,have removed this and checked for corrosion and bad contacts,all seems well,does anyone know what the next step should be,all unions to pipes appear to be ok,have removed EGR and appears to be fine,any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Raz,will have to have another look at multi plug,sounds as if its going to take a while to get to bottom of problem,old van so dont know if a new pump is viable,thanks for your help.

Hi Neil. The code you have relates to the cam ring position sensor inside the diesel pump.Normal problem is corrosion inside the multiplug. It could be the pump solenoid. wiring or ecu.If the vehicle starts its not a pats problem.
