You don't say what the fault is because clutch faults can be caused by something a simple as fluid level down.
If it was something like clutch slip and you had the clutch replaced. You can't tell what was replaced without taking the gearbox or engine out to look at the clutch. Its a huge job. In fact if you do it, you replace the lutch as a matter of course.
I've not heard of a refurbished clutch only replaced ones. Whenever one does a clutch one ALWAYS replaces: The Drive Plate, the Driven Plate and the Release Bearing as a minimum.
Clutches can go in a year for many reasons including: Bad parts, bad fitting, bad adjustment, bad driver.
Having said all that it all depends on your orginal fault and what the fault is now.
