worcester bosch 35 cdi ii :only get hot water when heating is on????
Hi I have a worcester bosch 35cdi ii boiler and when I put the hot water tap on its cold and the red light doesnt come on on the boiler, but when I put the heating on the water in the tap gets warm can anybody give me an idea of whats wrong before I call inthe plumber? many thanks
I had the same problem, i had a drayton wireless receiver and room thermostat and it was the wireless receiver attached to the boiler that was at fault. So I purchased another off ebay. " days after my tiner failed too (NT10) and again I got another off ebay and swapped it out. I called out an engineer and he diagnosed the fault in around 2 minutes, he was able to bypass the room thermostat until the replacement part arrived.
cost of receiver £45 from ebay or £75 from shop, MT10 - £41 from ebay or £65 from shop. Engineer costs - callout £25 + £25 for fix
