Hoover SteamVac Models F7222-900?

I have the above mentioned cleaner which I have used 2 times. Whenever power is turned on, cleaning solution is dispensed even though the trigger is not squeezed. Sure could use some help! Cleaner is out of warranty, but has barely been used. Thanks.
