overflow pipe?

i have an old overflow pipe thats suddenly started leaking water , started a few weeks ago.???.

It will be coming from a tank in the loft or from a toilet cistern - an automatic water inlet control probably needs attention. You need to find out the source - easier to check toilet cisterns first - then up into the loft space.
