I managed to get into a side road and tried all gears, it was struggling and wouldt go in but after about 5 minutes I heard a click and everything went back to normal, I started driving home so I don't break down on road, but as soon as I reached a roundbout and had to chnage gears the problem came back! I couldn't get into any gears and once more forced it in 1st, I stoped on a slip road, and had to call for recovery, the guy was useless he refield my break fliud and tried to pump up the clutch, but the nothing happend so I had the car towed home. Now it don't go in any gears unless the engines of, the revocery guy said the clutch ishnt burned but when I asked for diagnos for the car he had no answers! Please help! What.should I do this is very stresful! This is my fisrt car, and its been nothing but trouble, by the way its a ford ka 1999 manual. Please help with any advice. What should I do? When you say he filled up your brake fluid and tried to pump up the clutch, was he trying to bleed it correctly?sounds as if you are losing fluid to your clutch, probably at the slave cyl, dont know about a KA but some fords incorporate the slave cyl. into the release bearing meaning g/box removal, some have a cyl.outside the g/box,sorry cant be more specific, might get away with bleeding clutch correctly and keeping an eye on your fluid level, that is to say that that is your fault, may be losing fluid elsewhere, get someone who knows what they are doing and get a proper diagnosis.
