any tips on ajusting an 'A' john deere's carbuator?

The tractor is an 'A' john deere.i have cleaned the carbuator it jus needs to be ajusted now.i can pull a disck hire with it it just pops and is week and will cut off after awile.i just need some tips on how to ajust the carbuator right.

there are two ajustment needeles and there supose to be 1 3/4 turn out and it should work if the carb is clean but for more power the same applies in stead 2 3/4 of a turn but it burns more gas

ALWAYS try running adjusting screw all the way in (completely closed), then backing it out exactly one complete turn. Usually works in any carb.

It should run anyway u have the carbuater ajusted.
you just need to ass a condenser if it pops and cuts offf after awile.
