how do I repair my metal framed garden hammock ?

One of the supporting spokes which attaches from the hook under the canopy to the front of the swwinging seat has rusted and broken above the lower bolt - is there any way to repair this so I can use the hammock again?

Hi, sounds like this 'spoke' is tubular, in which case any metalworker worth his salt should be able to cut back the rust and weld in a new piece of tube and clean off the weld area smooth, then paint it. Or you could find a piece of tube that slides inside the broken pieces then drill and fit some 4mm 'pop' rivets either side of the join. Different thing if it's solid bar. If you're in E.Kent, come back on this forum if you'd like it repaired.
