How can I fix my tap that hardly any water comes out of?

The hot tap on my bath has (since we moved in 6 months ago) never run very fast/much when it's turned on full. It's now reduced itself to a constant drip! The tap is definately opened fully. What's wrong with it? Can I fix it myself or get a plumber in to change the tap (something I cant afford). HELP

one of two things could be that if the tap wasn't used for a while the washer could be stuck to the seating or the valve is damaged inside, best option is to get to b&Q or somewhere like that and buy tap revivors these are new tap valves that you put in the tap, turn the water off remove old valve and fit new

easy and cheap
