how can I re-glue the laminated cover of a drawer?

The end piece of laminate is torn and coming away on a kitchen drawer so that every time you close it it catches against the cooker. I've tried superglue but it doesn't stick. Do any firms supply/fit new covers in this blue wood effect laminate?

You get a lot of damageto drawers/doors that are directly next to the cooker, they dont seem to agree with the heat, a better glue to use would be contact adhesive, where you spread the glue onto each surface and then wait untill it has gone tacky then you press the two pieces together for a very strong bond. Or alternatively find where the kitchen came from and get a new drawer front.
