Fisher & Paykel GW712 ?

Our Fisher and Paykel GW712 washing machine is continuously beeping and displaying two orange lights: 1-----7-
It won't complete a cycle.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

Grant, We had the RPS replaced (and, because it was under extended warranty, they replaced the main board or computer too?). Which has fixed the problem. However, just tried to do a hot cycle a few weeks later and are now getting another error ----1-1- (code 80 is it?)...

Hi Leanne,

Did this solve your problem? Our GW712 is doing the same thing.

Thanks,

Grant

Fault with the RPS on the motor. Underneath mounted on top of the copper wired stator of the motor is a small electronic sensor with 5 wires. This is the rotor position sensor (RPS) It may have corrosion on the wiring harness plug making a bad connection. You could try cleaning up the contacts on the wiring plug but more likely to be needing a new RPS fitted.
