Zanussi Dishwasher DI720?

I have a Zanussi dishwasher model DI720.
I has always worked fine and today it just stopped working. When I turn it on, there is a whirring sound but no water is loading. I have checked the water taps, they are turned on. The filters are clear also. Is there anything else I should be checking?

is there water in the base? (antiflood operated).tip the dishwasher on its back and see if water comes out. retry once water removed.
