How can I fix my washing machine, Zanussi F1045W?

How can I replace both drum bearings on my washing machine, Zanussi F1045W
Andrew Hall, May 2006
This model has a 2 piece plastic tub, bolted together and the bearings and seal are pressed into the rear half. The bearings are not available with the seal(the cause of most failures). so you will need a new rear tub half with them already pressed in. Assuming the drum spider(shaft) is OK. Spider is available to bolt onto tub with original bolts. Either way, removal of the whole tub assembly is necessary to effect repair.
