how can i boot my laptop?

i want to install windows7 on my laptop but cant boot it the previous one i want to get the rid of the first one

Go into the BIOS settings and set the PC to boot from the DVD/CD driver. Put the Windows7 CD in the DVD/CD drive and the PC will boot from it. When you have finished installing Windows7 go back into the BIOS settings and reset the PC to boot from the hard driver.
