My LG WM2688H*M washing machine?

My LG WM2688H*M has the drum light lit continuously after the cycle is ended. The next time I go to use the washer, there is nothing on the display and I can't turn the washer on until I unplug it and plug it back in each time I want to use the washer. What could be the problem?
