citroen c5 radio beeping how can i fix?

i have recently bought citroen c5 which has been stood for a long time so battery had to be replaced. radio plays but constant beeping coming through speakers. does it have to be recoded cos ive not got the code.can anyone help.serial no is-clo50110039587.
