how can i mend my washing machine it tears my clothes its a caress 1200?

my caress 1200 washing machine keeps making little tears in my clothes,what can i do to mend this problem please.

Check the inside of the drum carefully, run your hand around the inside of the drum (slowly as you don't want to cut your fingers) feel for sharp edges or anything stuck in the drum. Bra underwire is usually the culprit
