Have a Seth Thomas electric melody chime mantle clock made by General Time Corporation that will not strike the hour or chime quarters after clock was moved (long trip) Does keep time well. Tried to chime after I pluged clock back in. Somewhat sort of chimed but not complete chime, then not at all. Catalog #1304 Clock name, Legacy iv Model E721-001

Check the hammers to see that they did not get twisted up. Make sure you can lift them easily and they drop easily on the chime rods. If this is not the problem then you may have a worn bushing that allowed the train to get twisted in the move. You will have to get a "good" clock repairman to look at it.
