How can i fix my Potterton Netaheat Profile boiler?

Its been really windy here and i have notice the flame in my boiler has gone out. This means that my hot water isn't working, but runs warm which suggest to me that the boiler has only just gone out??? The house i bought was reposessed and therefore didn't leave me any manuals but it has been working well until today. Any ideas how i can re-spark the flame without getting too technical?

Hi, your potterton profile does not have a premanent pilot light. The pilot will only light itself when the system calls for heat and the fan is running

Just for all you novices, such as myself. A friend suggested i look up the manual on the internet. It came up under Potterton.co.uk and i was able to read it through adobe acrobat which was a lot better than having to buy it! It simply said to turn all the dials on - thermosat, timer and both central heating and water. Turn boiler dial to '0' and the turn it to 2 or 3 for summer use. It took a little while to spark but turned on after that. Going to turn off the central heating in a few hours just so that it keeps going?
