where is the timer knob on the simpson esprit 500?

where is the timer knob to stop the process of water running, as my simpson esprit 500 top loader washing machine is overflowing from the top
thank you

The timer knob is the big dial on the right hand side. This has nothing to do with the overfilling. Your problem will be either a faulty water inlet valve or a blockage in the air pipe coming from the outer tub up to the pressure switch on the left where the water level knob is. Check the inlet valve first by starting machine and listen for the water coming in. After a few seconds press the timer knob in and water should stop flowing immediately. If it continues flowing in then the valve is sticking and should be replaced.
