spear & jackson?

i have a spear & jackson spgt 26 strimmer the engine will start but will not accelorate runs (rough) cleaned out carb checked diaphrams all ok can anyone help

Is it also very quiet? Could be a choked silencer. You can remove the silencer and run it up for a few seconds to check the power has returned.
It will be unacceptably noisy for anything other than a quick test.
I don't know where to get a new silencer.
