I have to open the filling loop every day to re-establish the pressure. I assume there is a leak, can anyone suggest where I should look?

Initally you should isolate the flow and return leaving the boiler to establish if the suspected leak is within the boiler or on your C.H.system.Set up the system pressure then shut off flow and return valves at the boiler valve set observe the pressure and go from the results of this first step.
