is your system gravity hot water or pumped, if its is gravity then the pump only runs for your radiators and the impellar may be stuck, some pumps have a large screw in the middle which can be undone allowing you to spin the impellars free, make sure you have some old towels under it as u may get a small dri p from it as you do it

check the three way valve, or two port zone valve is opening.
