Bobbin Case?

I have a Singer Model 6233, I have replaced a broken bobbin case, but now the needle will not pick up the bobbin thread and after 4 or 5 attempts, the bobbin case pops out, I suspect this is what broke the right point off of the last one? I am thinking that I have not placed it in properly?

Hello Catherine,
If you have the black plastic bobbin case make sure the gap between the bobbin case and the metal plate on the right hand side is not too wide, there should be enough gap for the thread to pass through, if it is too wide slacken off the two screws on the metal plate and move it over, that should stop the bobbin case popping up, if it still does it and it is not picking up the thread then you need to retime the machine, if you type my address as you say it and not as you see it I will attach instructions.
