Ah, found it!! I suddenly thought you may be talking about left hand drive (and I'm in England-RHD)!
Looked in the passenger side, behind the glove box and there it was, clear as day!

Unfortunately the fuse is perfectly intact.. so I don't know what the problem is. I might have to take it back to the dealer to have a look as I only bought it Friday!

Passenger compartment fuse panel
The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by
the brake pedal. Remove the panel cover to access the fuses.
To remove a fuse use the fuse puller tool provided on the fuse panel
cover. should be fuse 31 for the radio.

is there a drop down panel inside the car where the drivers seat is just up above where your right knee would be.

Well, I've tried disconnecting then reconnecting the iso and the battery lead to try and reset it, but to no avail. Also when looking at the fuseboard in the engine bay, I can't find one that relates to the stereo.. Is it hidden somewhere else? or under a different name/symbol?

hi have you check the fuse and make sure the plug (iso) is in and not come lose.

Wow, thanks a lot for the speedy reply!
Now my problem is that since taking the unit out to look at the serial, it wont turn on.. So now I cant put the code in!
I can't see anything coming loose and the keys are turned enough..
