Have a Hotpoint WF340 and on/off light keeps flashing fast along with the rinse hold and mini load lights, any idea what the problem is?

just fixed this problem, first pop the bottom panel off the front of the machine and drain the water by unscrewing the drainage cap, when water is fully drained remove the cap and check to see what is stuck in the pump chamber (a piece of my sons T-shirt) and remove it, replace the cap and run a quick wash and make sure that the water drains.

hiya sounds like you need to replace the nct.its on your heating element with 2 fine wires attached remove small wires plug & then the nut can be slackened slightly then withdraw the thermo replacement is just the reverse of removal job done machine working
