After my cleaner recently used the vacuum cleaner, I noticed that the attachments do not fix firmly at the end of the wand and I see uneven surface on the wand which indicates that some plastic part is broken because of which the attachments dont fix properly. I tried the tool adaptor too recently but that is not the solution. Does anyone know what is this plastic part and how can I order it?

The answer above is correct. The collar inside the wand breaks up and the tools will no longer fit.

you need a new wand handle because the circle is broken this has happened to my dc01 standard.
