Bissell 7901/8910 ProHeat won't dispense soap?

My cleaner will put water out and also suck it back up but it will not dispense the soap. The soap does come out of plastic smartmix bottle as it should. All belts are good. any ideas?

Soap dispenser gets gummed up over time. Put hot tap water in the dispenser & run it thru, may clear the problem
