Kitchen sink blocked - help!?

I stupidly poured the excess 'water' from mince that I was cooking (without clocking that there was quite a bit of fat in there) down the kitchen sink (the little sink next to the main sink) and it's now blocked. I tried Mr Muscle sink unblocker (the gel stuff in an orange bottle) but it seems to have made it worse, as it said when you had left it to work you need to 'flush it' with hot water, but when I added hot water nothing was draining away so I had to stop the tap. Any ideas what I can try now?

Same thing happend to me. Get a wire coat hanger and straighten it out with a pair of pliers. push the straightened coat hanger down the sink and give it a plunge up and down a few times (this should put at least a few holes through the fat blocking the pipe.). Once you've done this put some more sing and plug hole unblocker down there and leave it for at least double what it says on the bottle. Do the thing with the coat hanger again then flush with boiling water straight from a kettle.
