How to know the model # and brand on my Tempus Fugit grandfather clock?

How do I know it? The whole mechanism is covered in a small box. I can't simply remove the mechanism and open the back of the mechanism. It doesn't have a side panel. Only some decorations on the side.

Hi, no "loose" side-panel that moves a bit (these have to be psoitoned exactly right to slip out)??. Maybe your clock has a complete removeable top (remove the hands first)? Many good movements have the maker and number stamped on a side-plate. Many clock movements are made by Hemle (German).
