How Can I fix my Front Deraillier?

While using my Front tube mounted gear changer it suddenly went and the lever just became unuseable the wire hasnt actually come out of anywhere but is loose and only tightens up a bit if you push the lever right up. Can anyone help me as to where I should start to repair. Thanks

Sounds like the cable has slipped at the fixing point on the front mech, if you slacken the alan nut that clamps the cable usually 5mm on the front mech, then push your gear lever forward, take up the slack cable at the mech end and then tighten the 5mm alan nut, take care not to overtighten and strip the thread, hope this helps.
