Ignis ADL 347 dishwasher stuck in rinse cycle?

Ignis ADL 347 dishwasher. Normally before starting the machine you can select the programme / cycle that you wish to use by pressing a button which cycles throuhg the various cycles. My machine has the rinse cycke selected and it will not change to any otyer programme - please help.
