Whats wrong with my Indesit W123? It starts fine, fills with water and takes the detergent and starts to wash, then it just keeps washing. I've tried switching it off and moving the dial on but it just clicks round and keeps on washing!!! HELP!! I've got a large family and hand washing is killing me!!!

I've also found out that its flashing 7 times, which apparently means a problem with the heater or module, sounds expensive! Can anyone tell me how my husband can fix this? What and where to look? I'd really appreciate some help!
