Repairing Whirlpool model et22dk refridgerator?
About a month ago my ice maker defaulted and there was water all over the kitchen, however fridge was still working ok. Last week fridge and freezer were still cooling but not at the level they should be. Packaged meat was still frozen but not solid and hot dogs, etc. thawed. We unplugged and cleaned and reconnected the next day. Empy the freezer is at about 0 to 10 degrees and fridge compartment is 40-50 degrees. We are wanting to know if the ice maker incident was the beginning of our troubles and how we can check to see if fridge and freezer can be fixed. Ice maker has not worked since melting all the ice that one morning.
