Where is the fuse box in my 1997 Mondeo0?

I;m trying to locate the main fuse box in my 1997 R Reg, Mondeo Ghia X. It's not under glove box or dash or anywhere inside that I can see. I've spent hours with a powerful torch and now a bad back.
Any ideas please.

No, there's nothing there. I got that answer from someone else. Believe you me, if it was behind glove box I would have found it by now.

I found that one but it does not contain all the main fuses such as central locking, lights etc.

next to battery under bonnet is one. and second one is behind the glove box not in it. You can actually access it without removing the glove box. If you get your head down in the passenger footwell and look up behind the box you should see it. There's a catch that releases it so it drops down for access to the fuses. I always do it that way - I find it easier than actually taking the glove box out.
