hi, we've just bought a Bush BTVD31187S2 and have misplaced the receipt(ie the guarantee) . on setting it up there is no picture when switiching it on , just a blank black screen also tried dvd etc still blank screen . Sound is alright though . It seems to be doing everything else ie use of remote is ok, just no picture at all not even the display writings when using dvd or changing channel. has anyone experienced this ,any input much appreciated.....thanks

If you have only just purchased this item and if you paid by credit card or debit then this is proof enough or even if you paid with cash go back to the store where purchased and give them the proof of the date you purchased it and they will give you a copy of the original as i have done this in the past with no problem and obtained a copy very easily.If this item was just purchased in the last 14 days take it back with you and they should exchange it.
