worcester greenstar cdi not giving hot water?

My hot warter has gone off. The unit is flashing alternately between "22" and "EA" with the reset button flashing in red. I'm guessing the "22" refers to the temperature, but what does the "EA" mean please. When I press the reset button it sits there for a couple of minutes showing "22" solidly, but then goes into the fault again. Many thanks

our boiler is working and we have central heating, but we don't have any hot water... any suggestions?

ea = no flame sensed. electrodes fault or leads or p.c.b. , blocked or frozen condensate also causes this. or no gas !
