how on earth is it possable to remove the beading and glass without damage?

the anwer given by criss is a good one. i can add that you get a tool for the job like a wallpaper scraper with a 90 degree bend in the blade. when you see the bead round the glass the tool should be slid down the glass between the pain and the seal. lever the tool carefully until you see the bead start to pop out then move along the bead repeating the process. it is best to start with the left and right hand beads then top then bottom as they are cut to length and fitted in that manner. good luck

What you need is a very flat bladed scraper or flat knife, preferably a stiff bladed one ( one that doesn`t bend easily!) Take your scraper or knife have a look if the galzing beads are on the inside of your window or outside! If inside, you`re in luck this easier than it looks! you should see a joint right at the edge of the glass! place the scraper flat at the joint and hammer in! now with a little force sideways away from the wall the bead should start to come away! If beads are on the outside, you are probably better off getting a professional to take a look as this is sometimes a lot trickier! hope this helps!
