I have a Kenmore side by side ice and water in the door. The ice maker and the water in the door have quit working. Any tips on what might be wrong?? This refridgerator is only 8 yrs old.

not an expert, but have you checked your water lines? if the valve has been shut off, you're saved from a potentially expensive repair. there may be a problem with the power. (the water won't run when the fridge is unplugged) if that's the prob, it might be $$$$.
