How can I stop computer freezing?

My computer freezes from time to time. How can I fix it? Also I'm unable to access Windows Updates and I want to resolve that too.

Not being able to access Windoze updates sounds ominous.

Go to www.whatthetech.com and check out the self-help forums. You may need to register and ask for help, but it's pretty good
