how do i fix this problem , i turn on my computerand the backround shows up but the icon dont..

Right click on the background screen, then left click on "Active Desktop" then left click on "Show Desktop Items". This should bring back your icons maybe some extra ones as well, if you don't want the extra ones just right click on them and delete.
