how to repair valves/pistons after timing chain breaks. engine turned over once after new timing chain. what do i do now.

sounds as if it wasn`t timed right,did you try turning it over by hand before starting it?If it has bent valves and con rods it could be very expensive,you will have to price up the job and decide if it is worth repairing due to the age of the motor,have seen newer motors written off due to price of parts nowadays
