My Miele dishwasher G685 will not start when any programme is switched on - it displays .--- error code which on the book it says call an engineer. It will only start up on rinse or economy wash, which to me indicates a fault with the heating cycle. I have checked the heater unit and thermal overload cutoff stats- they seem ok, there appears to be a leak - water dripping from the water flow meter on what appeard to be the salt chamber. help apreciated.
