Thanks all, its for Garden Trimmers inthe instructions it says petrol mix 35.1 , all my other gear is 25.1, not a lot of difference but get it wrong and it could cease or to much and it smokes a chimney, so mixing bottle looks the way forward, any one else got any ideas ?

Decent kitchen scales (digital) does it for me - zero scales with container and funnel etc - add gasoline - reach for calculator - divide weight by 35 - add the result in weight of oil. I have my scales set to millilitres but anything wil do.

Where on earth have you managed to find 35:1 2-stroke oil nowadays. It doesn't exist.

Buy a mixing bottle from Homebase or B&Q or search ebay for the bottle part number MX001, it makes mixing one litre of fuel simple
