How to fix red/green discoloration at top right-hand corner of TV?

I have a 3 year old Magnavox 27ms343s TV. About 3 weeks ago I noticed a red or green (depending on the picture background) discoloration in the upper right-hand corner of my TV. What could cause this? I moved in the middle of last December, but the TV hasn't been moved since. Could that have caused this, even though it has been several months? What can I do to fix it?

Thanks.

Is your tv left on standby a lot? If it is, switch it off properly overnight. In the morning switch on again and the set should clear the problem itself. If it doesn't, you will need it Degaussing.

It may be a Hi Fi loud speaker very near the TV or something which contains a magnet. Just move it away.
Or get an engineer to 'degauss' the screen. Hope this helps.
